Outstanding GCSE Results for Orbital Students
We are delighted to announce that students across the Orbital Education community are once again celebrating extremely strong GCSE and IGCSE results.
In our schools around the world, 83% of the results achieved by the students were A*- C grades, with an impressive 40% being A*/A grades.
These results considerably surpass the UK average of 68% A*- C with 20% A*/A. The percentage of top grades achieved by Orbital students is almost double the UK average.
On top of these outstanding achievements, we are proud to share that, yet again, our students achieved, on average, one grade per subject above standardised indicators, demonstrating the considerable added value of attending an Orbital school.
As well as group-wide success stories, we have celebrated outstanding achievements in each school. Notable achievements include:
- Several students in Britannica International School, Shanghai, British School Quito, Oryx International, Doha and Baleares International College, Mallorca gained 9 A*/A grades each.
- In British School Quito, 89% of results were A*-C grades, and the number of top A*/A grades was an astounding 54%.
I am extremely proud of our students’ work ethic and determination, which is evident in these outstanding results. I'd also like to acknowledge the hard work put in by our teachers and parents, who have guided our students to these fantastic results whilst nurturing values and creating well-rounded global citizens.
