CEDES, Albacete joins the Orbital Education Community

Orbital Education has expanded its international school community with the acquisition of CEDES in Albacete, Spain.
Since 1932, CEDES has been educating students from ages three to eighteen with high-quality bilingual education, equipping them with a strong command of English and achieving outstanding academic and personal outcomes. A prestigious school, grounded in excellence and quality, CEDES offers success, support, and academic achievement for students and families.
The Orbital portfolio now includes thirteen schools located across Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Albania, Qatar, China, Ecuador and Mexico.
This alliance will allow CEDES to maximize its potential to ensure that students receive the best education while benefiting from global opportunities.
Spanning 20,000m2 in total, each of the educational levels is housed in a building for exclusive use and independent from the others. The early childhood and primary buildings are newly constructed, where natural light plays a fundamental role in the teaching-learning process. The school offers a curriculum that responds to the diversity of students.
Colegio CEDES is an exceptional addition to the Orbital Education portfolio. The school has a strong reputation locally with strong results and facilities. The support from the Orbital Education group will amplify and reinforce the school's already compelling offerings, fostering an environment poised for growth in student numbers and continued delivery of high-quality education.
With Orbital Education, we will become a school of international renown, which will allow our students to enter the international and globalized context with strong preparation. Thanks to this group, we remain faithful to the principles that inspired the founding of the school in 1932, with the goal of ensuring that ‘your best legacy is their education.’ After 93 years since its founding, I am convinced that, thanks to Orbital Education, we will make the academic quality leap that our students and the city of Albacete deserve.
