About the School

Baleares International College (BIC) https://balearesint.net/campuses/sa-porassa-campus is the largest British owned school in Mallorca, providing education based on the English National Curriculum to 485 students (from 5 to 18) in Sa Porrassa, a very accessible but beautiful rural area, adjacent to the south west coast of Mallorca. We are accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education, based upon inspection and recommendation by the British Council, and are a founding member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS). The school is also a member of COBIS, the Council of British International Schools. In October 2025 we received an extremely favourable BSO inspection.

About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity is to join the secondary team in our all-through school. The school is a strong team with a wealth of experience, evidenced by excellent exam results, high expectations, superb subject knowledge and close collaboration. Over the last 6 years, as the school has gone from strength to strength, the Sixth Form has similarly grown exponentially, from single figure Year groups to what will be around 70 students in September 2026. Applicants should have experience and expertise in teaching their subject at A'level and probably also GCSE, with proven exam success, and a willingness to work collaboratively. We are looking for teachers who either want to work part-time or to teach Sociology in conjunction with other KS3/4 subjects.

Living and working in Mallorca
