Humanities and Science Teacher

We are looking for a committed, dynamic, and passionate teacher who can plan and deliver outstanding lessons in Secondary Humanities and Science. You will be someone with drive and enthusiasm who believes in creating a unique, inspiring, and outstanding place for learning.

The school is seeking to appoint a well-qualified specialist teacher with experience of teaching Humanities (such as History, Geography or Global Perspectives) and Science at KS3 or IGCSE level, with the ability to contribute to A Level teaching in at least one of these subject areas.

You will be able to excite and challenge students to make rapid progress and demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

Duties and responsibilities specific to the post

Our teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality learning in an organised, happy, and safe environment. They work closely with colleagues in medium- and short-term planning, target setting and monitoring to ensure appropriate challenge and the very best possible progress for every pupil. Teachers are also expected to contribute to the broader life of the school, enriching the learning experience for students.

Applicants should be committed, outstanding teaching practitioners who lead by example. They should possess excellent IT, organisational and communication skills, along with a sound knowledge and dedication to the use of data and assessment in Humanities and Science.
