Economics Teacher

The school is seeking to appoint a well-qualified specialist Economics teacher with effect from November 1st, 2024. The person appointed will be capable of teaching IGCSE and A Level Economics, with a sound understanding of the UK National Curriculum at these levels. You will be able to excite and challenge students to make rapid progress and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

The Economics department is well resourced and benefits from the use of a suite of rooms.

Britannica International School, Budapest

Orbital Education

The Britannica International School, Budapest is part of the Orbital Education group, an expanding group of international schools specialising in providing the English National Curriculum to an internationally diverse student population, between the ages of 3 and 18 years.

In addition to our school in Budapest, the Orbital Education group has schools in Spain, Slovenia, China, Mexico, Ecuador, Albania and the Middle East and are currently developing schools in new regions across the globe. In this role, you would have the opportunity to collaborate and work with teaching staff at other schools across the group.

Duties and responsibilities specific to the post: Our Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality learning in an organised, happy and safe environment. They work together with other teaching colleagues in medium and short-term planning, target setting and monitoring to ensure challenge and the very best possible progress for every pupil. They participate in the broader life of the school, enriching the learning experience for students.
